ARTIST PAYMENT PLAN AGREEMENT

FUTURE ENDEAVORS

The Artist will be responsible for paying the remaining $5,000 per song, minus the $1,500 off one song already paid toward the project. This leaves a remaining balance of $23,500 for a 5-song project, which will be due upon signing a new agreement and finalizing a deal with any second or third-party company. This ensures full payment for the work completed by D/R Period while maintaining a fair and structured payment arrangement.

Remaining independent

If the artist chooses to stay independent, this arrangement for $1,500 will still remain in place. The artist will have the right to release the record commercially, with a 50-50 publishing split, where 50% goes to the producer and 50% goes to the artist.

Yes, the 50-50 publishing split reflects fairness in the business relationship, ensuring that both the producer and the artist are equally invested in the success of the project. This approach fosters transparency and mutual respect, which is essential for maintaining a strong and trustworthy working relationship. The $1,500 payment arrangement also ensures that the artist isn’t burdened by large upfront costs, allowing both parties to benefit equitably as the project progresses.

Breach of Agreement

Failure to make payments as outlined in this agreement will result in a breach of contract. If payments are missed:

  1. Project Suspension – All work on the project will be paused until payments are up to date.
  2. Loss of Rights – The Producer (D/R Period) retains full ownership of all recordings and production work until the balance is paid in full. The Artist cannot commercially release the project without completing payment.
  3. Non-Refundable Payments – Any payments already made are non-refundable, even if the Artist fails to complete the full payment plan.
  4. Legal Action – If payments remain unpaid beyond a reasonable period, the Producer reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover outstanding balances.
  5. Grace Period – A 7-day grace period may be given for late payments, but failure to pay beyond that may lead to contract termination.

By agreeing to this contract, the Artist acknowledges these terms and understands the consequences of non-payment.
